Mourinho Identifies Five Key Positions for Real Madrid Reinforcement Project
A press report revealed that Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has submitted a detailed report to Real Madrid's management, outlining his vision for the positions requiring reinforcement as part of his future technical project with the team.
According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", Mourinho clearly identified the need to strengthen the defensive line by signing one or two center-backs, in addition to acquiring a right-back in the initial phase. Support for the left flank could follow later, depending on the team's evolution.
The Portuguese coach also recommended strengthening the midfield by signing two players: one defensive midfielder to compete with Aurélien Tchouaméni, and another a playmaker capable of creating attacking solutions and linking the lines, given the team's current lack of such players.
The report indicated that Mourinho does not plan to make significant changes to the attacking line, focusing instead primarily on restoring balance to the defensive system and midfield.
In contrast, the source explained that some transfer-related operations have been temporarily halted due to elections within the club, leaving the project on hold until the administrative situation is resolved.
Reports have also linked the future of some players to the potential departure of others, at a time when several team files remain undecided, amidst expectations of a significant transitional phase during the summer transfer window.
