Nassi: "Playing at 4 PM Isn't Easy; Raja Beni Mellal Are a Good Team, Never Underestimate Opponents"
Walid Nassi, Wydad AC player, spoke about the difficulty of playing at 4 PM, expressing his happiness at qualifying for the Round of 16 of the Throne Cup after defeating Raja Beni Mellal 2-0.
Nassi stated in press remarks: "It wasn't an easy match in terms of preparation, as playing at 4 PM wasn't simple. Furthermore, the opposing team was good, so no team should be underestimated."
He added: "I believe all teams have something to prove. Today we faced a good team, but we managed to control the game, score at the right time, secure the win, and qualify for the next round. Things are good; we prepared ourselves well."
He continued: "Throughout the week, we had time to prepare after the Raja match. Today we are happy. And now, as I always say, we enjoy today, and tomorrow we return again and move on to something else. This is football, unfortunately. We enjoy the moment, then the next day we turn the page."
Nassi concluded by saying: "With the start of working with the new coach, we are focused, we work well in training, and we stick together as a team, which is the most important thing."
