Wydad Members to Ait Menna's Board: "You Had Your Full Chance, The Result Was Catastrophic... Respect Club History and Fan Anger, Leave With Dignity"
Members of Wydad Athletic Club have expressed their extreme anger regarding the team's current situation, describing the club as experiencing a "sporting and administrative catastrophe" amid what they termed the "administrative farce reaching its peak."
In a statement, Wydad members added: "Given the sporting and administrative catastrophe gripping Wydad Athletic Club, and with the administrative farce reaching its peak through attempts to silence voices and orchestrate flimsy question-and-answer charades, we declare to the Wydadi public that the time for talk is over, and the time for accountability has arrived."
The statement continued: "Wydad is not a field for failed experiments, nor is it a means to polish images. Based on the results that have insulted the pride of Wydad Al-Oumma and stripped the club of its spirit and identity, we declare that the fundamental demand, which is non-negotiable, is the immediate and final resignation of the entire managing board."
The members further stated: "We no longer demand reform or restoration; rather, we demand the departure of a system that has proven its inability to comprehend the value and stature of this club. Continuing this absurdity is a disregard for Wydad's history and the sacrifices of its fans."
The statement also emphasized: "Wydad is too great to be led by a mentality of escaping forward and postponing crises. Any attempt to circumvent this demand through fabricated meetings or empty promises will be stillborn."
Wydad members concluded their statement by saying: "Our message is clear and unequivocal: you had your full chance, and the result was catastrophic by all measures. Respect the club's history, respect the anger of the fans, and leave with your dignity. We do not expect answers to questions from you; rather, we demand your immediate resignation letter. Wydad belongs to its fans... and resignation is the only way out."
