Federation Congratulates AS FAR After Reaching CAF Champions League Final
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has congratulated AS FAR on their qualification for the CAF Champions League final, marking the second time in the club's history.
A statement from the Federation read: "Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, on behalf of himself and the members of the steering committee, extends his congratulations to AS FAR on their qualification for the CAF Champions League final, despite their 1-0 defeat in the second leg match against RS Berkane on Saturday evening, April 18, 2026."
The statement continued: "AS FAR had secured a two-goal advantage in the first leg last week, winning 2-0 in the match held at Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, thus confirming their place in the final with a superior aggregate score."
AS FAR will now face South African side Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League final, setting up an exciting continental showdown.
