USM Alger coach Lamine Ndiaye acknowledged the difficulty of the upcoming match against Olympique Safi in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final. He simultaneously affirmed his players' determination to deliver a strong performance to secure a spot in the final.
Ndiaye stated at the pre-match press conference: "I believe the players are very motivated and focused for this match."
He added: "We know it won't be easy; it's a semi-final match, and a place in the final is at stake, but we are here to deliver a great game."
The Algerian team's coach continued: "We will play for all our chances because when the match starts, no team is pre-qualified, so the chances are 50/50."
The match will take place tomorrow, Sunday, at the Stade El Massira in Safi, kicking off at 8:00 PM. The first leg ended in a goalless draw (0-0).
