
USM Alger Players: 'Ready for Olympique Safi and Determined to Reach the Final'
USM Alger players Glodi Lilepo and Saifi Eddine Othmani have affirmed their team's readiness to face Olympic Safi in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final. They emphasized the difficulty of playing away from home and their strong desire to secure qualification.
Speaking to the club's official website, Glodi Lilepo stated: "We are preparing well for the second leg, and we know it won't be easy, especially since we will be playing away from home."
He added: "We are ready for the start of the match and will make every effort to achieve qualification. In the first leg, we created many chances, and in the second leg, we will strive to create more and score goals. We will give 100% to return with qualification."
For his part, Saifi Eddine Othmani commented: "Preparations are going very well, and this is a positive sign that will help us, God willing."
He continued: "We want to make the fans happy, and we will perform at the required level to qualify for the final. We will give everything we have to achieve this goal."
USM Alger will visit Olympic Safi this coming Sunday, with the match kicking off at 8:00 PM (GMT+1) at El Massira Stadium in Safi.
