
AS FAR Players: 'We Will Make Our Mark Against RS Berkane and Secure Qualification'
AS FAR players have affirmed their determination to qualify for the CAF Champions League final ahead of their crucial second-leg semi-final clash against RS Berkane.
Mohcine Bourrika stated in comments to the media that reaching this stage was not easy, but rather the result of significant efforts from the players. He emphasized that all components of the team aspire to continue their journey and win the title.
He said: "Everyone wants to reach the final. It's not easy to achieve this journey. I thank the players for their efforts, and I hope we can win the title and dedicate it to our fans, God willing."
Bourrika added that the team faced significant difficulties since the start of the competition but remained confident in their abilities, despite a lack of initial trust from some quarters.
He continued: "We believed in our players; we have quality players. We reached this point with difficulty; no one believed in us at the beginning. Now we are in the semi-finals, and God willing, we will make our mark."
For his part, Jalal Eddine Khafif explained that the military club is well aware of the importance of this match and the opponent's quality, considering that the encounter will not be easy against a strong team like RS Berkane.
He stated: "We truly understand this match. RS Berkane is a big team, and God willing, we will go in to secure the win."
Khafif added that the team's preparations have proceeded positively, with work focused on correcting certain aspects and improving performance compared to the first leg.
He further commented: "Preparations went well, similar to the first leg, and even better. Everyone is aware of the magnitude of the responsibility, and we are determined to clinch the match."
The match will take place the day after tomorrow, Saturday, at the Municipal Stadium of Berkane, kicking off at 8:00 PM. The first leg concluded with a 2-0 victory for AS FAR.
