“Orange Boys” Urge Berkane Fans for “Historic” Trip to Rabat Ahead of Army Clash in Champions League Semi-Final
The "Orange Boys" ultras group, supporters of RS Berkane, issued a strong message to the team's fans ahead of their anticipated clash against AS FAR. The call comes before the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semifinal, urging a massive fan turnout in the capital, Rabat, to support the team.
The statement read: "For history, Oh Nahda, with the pride of the unyielding Beni Snassen mountains and the steadfastness of Berkane's loyal men, we direct the compass this time towards the administrative capital of the country, to write a new chapter in the glory coming from the East. Today's stop is not like any other; it is a decisive battle at the gateway of the Confederation Cup semifinal first leg."
The group added: "This is a match that cannot be divided, titled 'We are where you are, to be or not to be.' It is the culmination of eleven years of continuous presence in the 'African jungles,' proving that 'Taberkanite' (the spirit of Berkane) manifests in its finest form when the stakes are high."
The statement emphasized that traveling to Rabat "is not an option but a duty imposed by belonging," stressing the necessity of a massive presence from various neighborhoods and regions to unite voices behind the team in this crucial stage.
They continued: "Our goal is one: to put one foot in the final, paving the way for our fifth African title," calling on fans to adhere to organizational instructions and avoid any behavior that could distract focus or tarnish the image of the Berkane supporters.
The match is expected to take place tomorrow, Saturday, at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, kicking off at 8:00 PM.
