AS FAR coach Alexandre Santos affirmed that his team delivered a strong performance and deserved their 3-2 victory over Olympique Dcheira. The match took place on Thursday evening as a postponed fixture from the tenth round of the Professional League.

During the post-match press conference, Santos stated: "The first important thing is the players' capabilities. They showed that we are here for the championship, to collect points and achieve an important win that allows us to continue our journey in the league, after the CAF Champions League competitions."

He added: "It's difficult to maintain the same level of focus after a big match, especially after qualifying for the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League. It's hard to keep the same intensity and discipline, but we succeeded in doing so."

The Portuguese coach continued: "On the offensive level, we played a very great match, and the statistics confirm that we were at a high level and deserved a comfortable victory. However, the opponent was tough and relied heavily on counter-attacks."
