1,000 Security Personnel to Secure Morocco vs. Ecuador Match at Madrid's Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo revealed that approximately 1,000 security personnel will be deployed to secure the international friendly match between the Moroccan national team and their Ecuadorian counterparts. The game is scheduled for Friday evening at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium in the Spanish capital, Madrid, kicking off at 21:15 GMT+1.
The newspaper further explained that this security operation, orchestrated by the Government Delegation in Madrid, will involve coordination among several security entities. These include the National Police, the Civil Guard, the Madrid Municipal Police, as well as protection and emergency services, alongside security staff from the host club.
Organizing authorities confirmed that no dangerous or prohibited items would be allowed into the stadium, including weapons, fireworks, glass bottles, and alcoholic beverages. Furthermore, entry will be denied to anyone showing signs of intoxication or drug influence.
In the same vein, the organizers urged fans to arrive at the stadium early to facilitate security checks, avoid congestion at the entrances, and ensure the match proceeds under the best possible organizational and security conditions.
