Ismail Baaouf: "I Felt Great Confidence from the Coach, We Aim for Big Achievements in Coming Years"
Moroccan defender Ismail Baaouf expressed his immense joy after receiving his first call-up to the national team, emphasizing that this moment serves as a strong motivation to continue working hard and deliver his best in the upcoming phase.
Baaouf stated in an interview with the official website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation: "Initially, I learned about it after training. We were in the changing room, and then the video was shown to me, which made me very happy and gave me great confidence from the coach. This serves as an incentive to continue working and give everything I have."
He added: "I was very well received by everyone; the players spoke with me and welcomed me. The group is excellent, and there is a remarkable team spirit. I believe we are capable of achieving a lot in the coming years, and this is one of the main reasons I am here."
Baaouf concluded his statement by addressing a message to the fans, saying: "I would like to thank the fans very much for their continuous support, and we hope they will attend matches in large numbers to help us deliver a performance worthy of them and make them happy."
The Moroccan national team is set to face Ecuador the day after tomorrow, Friday, in Madrid, with the match kicking off at 9:15 PM (GMT+1).
