Bahrain National Team Player Arrested for Harming Public Security, 'Glorifying Iran's Hostile Acts'
Bahraini authorities have arrested six individuals, including Bahrain national team player Ahmed Mirza Musa, on charges of harming public security.
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior published the names of the six individuals, including Ahmed Mirza, on its official website. The ministry stated that its Anti-Cybercrime Directorate, part of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security, successfully monitored them.
The ministry confirmed that the arrests were made "following their filming and publishing of video clips related to the effects of the heinous Iranian aggression, sympathizing with it, and glorifying its hostile acts."
It added, "These clips were circulated through their social media accounts, which could mislead public opinion, spread fear among citizens and residents, and harm public security and order."
