AC Milan Opens Fan Voting for Three Midfielders to Hall of Fame
AC Milan has announced the reopening of fan voting for registered supporters to select three new midfielders for the club's prestigious Hall of Fame. The voting process will take place on the official digital platform throughout March, aiming to give fans the opportunity to participate in choosing the most prominent players who have graced the midfield throughout the club's illustrious history.
Regarding the organizational stages, the voting process includes a first round featuring 15 players, which runs until Tuesday. This will be followed by a second round with another 15 candidates, scheduled between March 18 and 23. The decisive final round is set for March 24 to 29. The three winners will receive commemorative awards specially designed for the occasion by the international company Tiffany & Co.
The induction ceremony for the chosen players is scheduled to take place during AC Milan's match against Juventus on April 26. This initiative, which began in December 2024, previously saw the selection of attacking trio Marco van Basten, Andriy Shevchenko, and Filippo Inzaghi, with defensive legend Franco Baresi automatically included in the historical list.
Through this project, the club's management aims to expand the scope of recognition in future seasons to include goalkeepers and defenders, ensuring representation across various positions and historical eras of the club. This move is part of ongoing initiatives to celebrate the team's stars who have left their mark on the Rossoneri's records.
