Exclusive: Professional League Set to Postpone Tenth Round Matches
Exclusive sources informed "Al-Botola" that the National Professional Football League is moving towards postponing the postponed matches of the tenth round of the Professional League, to make way for Moroccan clubs participating in continental competitions.
The National Professional Football League is expected to issue an official statement detailing this decision in the coming hours.
The Professional League currently has a significant number of postponed matches, primarily affecting teams involved in continental competitions, notably RS Berkane, AS FAR, Wydad AC, and Olympique Safi, with each team having three postponed fixtures.
The National Professional Football League had previously announced its decision to move the match between Olympique Dcheira and Maghreb de Fès, part of the fifteenth round of the "Inwi" Professional League, to last Saturday instead of last Sunday. This adjustment was made to allow for the rescheduled tenth-round matches to be played this Tuesday and Wednesday.
It is worth noting that AS FAR will face Egypt's Pyramids FC in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals. The first leg is scheduled for March 13, 2026, at 22:00, with the return leg against the same opponent on March 21 at 16:00.
Meanwhile, in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals, Olympique Safi will play Wydad AC. The first leg is set for March 15 at El Massira Stadium in Safi, while the second leg will take place on March 22 at Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca.
