French Cup Semi-Final Draw Date Set, Loïc Rémy to Attend

The French Football Federation has announced the details for the draw of the Coupe de France semi-finals for the 2026 season. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 5, starting at 7:50 PM. It will be broadcast live on France 3 as part of the "Stade 2 La Quotidienne" sports program.

Former French international striker Loïc Rémy will be a special guest at the event, invited by the Federation. Rémy previously represented four of the eight clubs that have qualified for the quarter-finals: Olympique Lyonnais, RC Lens, OGC Nice, and Olympique Marseille. This announcement comes as teams prepare for the quarter-final matches, which are set to begin on Tuesday, as they vie for a spot in the competition's final four.

The organizing committee has scheduled the semi-final matches for the week commencing April 20, following the completion of the current quarter-final stage this week. A notable surprise in this edition is the absence of Paris Saint-Germain, who exited the competition in the Round of 16, despite having won the title eight times in the past eleven seasons.
