
El Haddadi on Iran Situation: 'Evacuated from Plane, Club Provided Car to Cross Border Safely'
Moroccan international Munir El Haddadi, Esteghlal Tehran player, reassured fans about his situation following recent developments in Iran, confirming he is now safe after leaving the country.
El Haddadi posted a message via the "Story" feature on his Instagram account, stating: "I would like to thank everyone for their messages and for expressing concern about my situation in Iran."
He added: "Yesterday, the intention was to leave the country by air, but in the end, we were evacuated from the plane and could not take off."
He continued: "The club provided me with a car to exit the country by land, and thanks to that, I was able to cross the border without problems. At this moment, I am safe in Turkey, and in the coming hours, I will arrive in Spain. Thank you everyone for your love."
El Haddadi's statement puts an end to the anxiety that had spread among his fans and followers in recent hours, especially given the rapid developments in Iran, confirming that his situation is currently stable and his return to Spain is only a matter of time.
