
Champions League: Galatasaray Qualifies for Round of 16 Despite Loss to Juventus
Juventus defeated visitors Galatasaray 3-2 today at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie.
The host team took an early lead when Manuel Locatelli converted a penalty in the 37th minute. However, Juventus were reduced to ten men early in the second half following the dismissal of their player Lloyd Kelly in the 48th minute. Federico Gatti then extended the lead with a second goal by the 70th minute, before Weston McKennie added a third in the 82nd minute.
The visiting team managed to reduce the deficit in the dying moments, with Victor Osimhen scoring their first goal in the first minute of first-half stoppage time. Barış Alper Yılmaz then netted Galatasaray's second goal in the 119th minute. Despite their victory in the match, Juventus exited the competition due to their opponent's 7-5 aggregate advantage over both legs.
