Anxo Carro Stadium to Host 2026 Copa del Rey Juvenil Finals Featuring Barcelona
Organizers have confirmed that Anxo Carro Stadium in Lugo, Spain, will host the final four stage of the 2026 Copa del Rey Juvenil. The competitions are scheduled to take place between March 11 and 15. This decision marks the tournament's return to the city, which previously hosted the same event in 2022, featuring four clubs that reached this advanced stage of the prestigious local competition.
The list of teams competing for the title includes FC Barcelona, the reigning champions, alongside Real Betis, Celta Vigo, and Deportivo La Coruña. The semi-final clashes will kick off with Real Betis facing Celta Vigo on Wednesday, March 11, at 18:30. The following day will feature a strong encounter between the Catalan side, Barcelona, and Deportivo La Coruña at the same time, to determine the second finalist.
In preparation for the tournament, Real Betis and Celta Vigo successfully secured their places in this stage after overcoming Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao, respectively. This sets the stage for highly anticipated matches, where Barcelona will aim to defend the trophy they recently won after defeating Real Zaragoza in the previous final. The tournament will conclude with the final match on Sunday, March 15, at 11:45 AM.
