
Heavy Sanctions, Including 5-Match Ban for Nachit, Issued Against Raja vs. Ittihad Tanger Refereeing Crew
The National Technical Directorate for Refereeing has issued an official statement following the conclusion of the 13th round of the Botola Pro "Inwi" - Division One competition. The statement announced a series of disciplinary sanctions against the refereeing crew that officiated the match between Raja Club Athletic and Ittihad Tanger, in response to the errors observed during the encounter.
The Directorate confirmed that these significant decisions were made based on the controversial refereeing errors that occurred during the Raja Club Athletic vs. Ittihad Riadi de Tanger match, which was part of the 13th round of the Botola Pro.
The Directorate decided to suspend referee Noufal Nachit for five matches, while VAR referee Abderrahim Errakhiz received a four-match suspension.
The sanctions also included a three-match suspension for Assistant VAR referee Bouazza Ikken, along with First Assistant Referee Abderrazak El Moutamanni and Second Assistant Referee Mustapha Abikhar, who were also suspended for the same duration.
