Valencia Officially Sign Right-Back Renzo Saravia Until 2026
Spanish club Valencia has officially announced the signing of Argentine right-back Renzo Saravia, who joins the first team until June 30, 2026. This signing aims to fill the vacant position left by the injured player Dimitri Foulquier.
Saravia, 32, who was a free agent after his contract with Atlético Mineiro expired, will wear the number 20 shirt for Valencia. Reports indicated that negotiations for his transfer were delayed due to his desire to extend his previous contract and offers he received from Major League Soccer.
Commenting on his arrival, Renzo Saravia said: "Now is the time to come for these four months, show my footballing abilities, and try to stay longer." This signing addresses the right-back position in the squad, especially given Dimitri Foulquier's left knee injury.
Saravia's career has included spells at clubs such as Belgrano, Racing de Avellaneda, Porto, Internacional de Porto Alegre, and Botafogo. Valencia also has another right-back, Thierry Rendall, whose contract also expires in June 2026.
