Argentine Defender Renzo Saravia Arrives in Valencia for Medical and Contract Signing
Spanish club Valencia announced the arrival of Argentine defender Renzo Saravia in Valencia on Saturday to undergo a medical examination and sign a contract until the end of the current season. This move aims to strengthen the team's right-back position.
The 32-year-old, who is a free agent, joins to bolster the squad due to an urgent need following an injury to Dimitri Foulquier and ongoing physical issues suffered by Thierry Rendall. Valencia has de-registered Foulquier from the federation to free up a squad spot for the new player.
Reports indicated that the agreement with Saravia experienced a slight delay, as the player sought a longer contract duration than initially proposed by the club. Saravia concluded his tenure with his former club, Atlético Mineiro, playing his last match on December 7, 2025.
