Defender Pavlovic's Injury Details Emerge, Fibula Fracture Ruled Out
Medical examinations undergone by Serbian defender Pavlovic, following a strong blow sustained during a match, have ruled out a fracture in his left fibula bone. However, the tests revealed a large hematoma in the soft tissue area, in addition to hemorrhagic edematous infiltration in the fibula bone without cortical interruption.
Medical reports clarified that Pavlovic's injury, sustained from a strong challenge by player Van der Brempt during the first half of the match, necessitated his forced substitution at halftime. The official medical report confirmed the findings of the initial examinations, stating: "a large hematoma in the soft tissue and hemorrhagic edematous infiltration in the fibula bone without cortical interruption."
In a related context, Pavlovic is considered at significant risk of not recovering in time to participate in the upcoming match between Milan and Parma, due to concerns regarding the extent of his recovery from the injury. On the other hand, defender Tomori and player Rabiot will be available for the match against Parma, having recovered from previous issues and served their respective suspensions.
