Moroccan-born Thiago Pitarch expressed immense pride following his debut with Real Madrid's first team against Benfica in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League playoff for the round of 16, stating that his childhood dream had been realized.
Pitarch shared a post on his official Instagram account, stating: "I can't describe what I felt last night; I've achieved my biggest dream. The child who went to sleep every night always dreaming of playing for the best team in the world."
He added: "To make my debut with Real Madrid, and for it to be in the Champions League, and to see your parents emotional and excited in the stands, is unbelievable. To do it in a stadium steeped in the club's rich history makes it truly special."
