Tunisian Jaïdi Predicts Strong Clash Between Wydad and Olympique Safi in Confederation Cup: "We Will See a Very High Level"
Former Tunisian international Radhi Jaïdi believes that the draw for the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals did not contain major surprises, highlighting that it produced strong and exciting matchups, including the game between Wydad AC and Olympique Safi.
Speaking to "On Sport" channel on the sidelines of the draw ceremony, Jaïdi said: "The draw doesn't have surprises, but it features big matches, such as the clash between Al Masry and Belouizdad, a classic and a very big game."
Jaïdi added, speaking about the anticipated Moroccan derby between Olympique Safi and Wydad AC: "There are derby clashes, like the encounter between Olympique Safi and Wydad AC, a very big match in Morocco, and God willing, we will see a very high level in it."
He continued: "We know that Safi is not in its best form this season in the professional league, but in the Confederation Cup, especially the quarter-finals, matches are decided by small details."
Jaïdi concluded his statement by saying: "God willing, we will witness a very big match between the two teams."
It is worth noting that the first leg between Olympique Safi and Wydad AC will take place in Safi on March 15, with the return leg scheduled for March 22 in Casablanca.
