
Al-Nassr Defeats Al-Ittihad 2-0 in Saudi League; En-Nesyri Debuts
Al-Nassr defeated visiting Al-Ittihad 2-0 in their match on Friday, which was part of Round 21 of the Roshn Saudi League.
The match also marked the debut of Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri for Al-Ittihad, following his move to the Saudi club on a contract until 2028 from Turkish side Fenerbahçe. He featured in the starting lineup.
The game remained goalless for much of the match until Senegalese forward Sadio Mané broke the deadlock, scoring Al-Nassr's first goal from a penalty kick in the 84th minute. His teammate Angelo Borges then added a second goal in stoppage time.
Al-Nassr currently sits second in the Saudi League standings with 49 points, while Al-Ittihad is in seventh place with 34 points.
