Hany Abo Rida (Egyptian FA President) Praises AFCON in Morocco: "Organization Was More Than Wonderful"
Hany Abo Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, affirmed that the organization of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco was more than wonderful, noting that the stadiums demonstrated a high level of readiness.
During a press conference alongside Hossam Hassan and Egyptian Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy, the Egyptian FA President stated: "The organization of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco was more than wonderful."
He added: "The stadiums were of a high standard, and the accommodation was top-notch."
Hany Abo Rida's statement comes amidst controversy sparked by earlier remarks from Hossam Hassan, coach of the Egyptian national team, regarding Morocco's organization of the Africa Cup of Nations. Hassan later retracted his initial comments, praising the level of organization and infrastructure, and affirming that the tournament was held under conditions befitting the value of the continental competition.
