Alemany Discusses Galatasaray Match and Atlético's Transfer Market Plans

Mateo Alemany, Atlético Madrid's Director of Professional Football, spoke to Movistar channel ahead of the team's anticipated UEFA Champions League match against Galatasaray.

Alemany described the upcoming match, stating: "It's one of the stadiums with a fantastic atmosphere in Europe. A beautiful Champions League match, with fans who exert strong pressure, but we know we must win. It's a decisive match."

Regarding potential reinforcements, Alemany confirmed the existence of a clear plan agreed upon with the coach and technical staff. He added: "We have a very clear idea, agreed upon, discussed, and deepened with the coach and technical staff. We will follow this plan until the end. Ten days remain, and we will see what happens."

Alemany also explicitly ruled out the departure of player Thiago Almada, asserting: "That is ruled out." He indicated that the club is actively working in a transfer market he described as "difficult and aggressive" to bring in one or two high-level players.
