Endrick Continues Lyon Adaptation, Misses Monaco Clash
Brazilian forward Endrick, on loan from Real Madrid, participated in his second collective training session with his new team, Olympique Lyon, on Friday. However, Olympique Lyon coach Paulo Fonseca confirmed that the 19-year-old will not be included in the squad for Saturday's Ligue 1 match against Monaco.
Fonseca stated that Endrick "is not yet ready to play 90 minutes," adding that he "is not prepared for 90 minutes" despite his good physical condition. The coach further commented, "I find him in very good shape. He started training this week, and his adaptation is progressing excellently."
Meanwhile, Lyon midfielder Orel Mangala noted, "Things are going well, he's a cheerful person, and he has adapted very quickly because he speaks English."
Endrick is expected to make his debut for the team on January 11, during the Coupe de France Round of 32 clash against Lille.
