Africa Cup of Nations: DR Congo Dominates Botswana 3-0, Finishes Group Stage Second

The Democratic Republic of Congo national team has qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 after securing a dominant 3-0 victory over Botswana. The decisive match took place on Tuesday at Rabat City Stadium, marking the final fixture of the group stage.
Nathanael Mbuku opened the scoring for DR Congo in the 31st minute. Gaël Kakuta then extended their lead with two goals, finding the net in the 41st and 60th minutes.
With this win, DR Congo raised its points tally to 7, finishing second in Group D, level on points with group leaders Senegal. Benin secured third place with 3 points, while Botswana finished at the bottom of the group without any points.
