Omar Marmoush was awarded the "Man of the Match" accolade following the encounter between the Egyptian national team and their Zimbabwean counterparts on Monday evening. This match was part of the first round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.
Marmoush's recognition came after his impactful performance in the game, where he scored the equalizer against Zimbabwe in the 64th minute. Mohamed Salah then secured the Pharaohs' second goal in the 90+1st minute.
The Egyptian national team clinched a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Zimbabwe, bringing their tally in Group B to three points, level with South Africa.
