El Kaabi: 'We Won in Front of Our Fans; The First Match's Aim is to Secure Three Points'

Moroccan national team striker Ayoub El Kaabi expressed his delight following the "Atlas Lions'" victory over Comoros in their opening Group A match at the Africa Cup of Nations finals.

Speaking to beIN Sports, El Kaabi stated, "I thank the Moroccan fans and His Royal Highness Prince Moulay El Hassan. Praise be to God, we achieved victory in front of our supporters."

He added, "Everyone knows that the primary objective of the first group stage match is to secure all three points. Praise be to God, we are one family, and everyone who steps onto the field gives their utmost. We work according to the coach's instructions, and congratulations to us on this victory."

El Kaabi concluded, "We hope to achieve victory in the upcoming match against Mali to guarantee our qualification for the next round."

It is worth noting that Ayoub El Kaabi scored Morocco's second goal with a superb bicycle kick, guiding the national side to a two-nil victory over Comoros.
