El Kaabi Scores Sixth Goal in Five Matches, Leads Olympiacos to 5-2 Greek Cup Victory Over Hellas Syros

Moroccan international Ayoub El Kaabi added another goal to his tally, scoring Olympiacos' fifth goal in their dominant 5-2 victory over Hellas Syros. The match was part of the fourth round of the Greek Cup group stage.

El Kaabi netted the final goal of the game in the 90+1st minute with a powerful shot, sealing the win after being introduced as a substitute in the 80th minute. Coach Mendilibar opted to rest key players, and El Kaabi's goal marked his sixth consecutive goal in his last five appearances.

This latest strike brings his total goal tally for the season to 13 across all competitions. This includes 10 goals and one assist in 12 league matches, two goals and one assist in the Champions League, and one goal in two Greek Cup appearances.

El Kaabi's continued impressive form comes just days before the start of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. He is considered a key player by national coach Walid Regragui, who relies on him to lead the Moroccan national team's attack.
