Manchester City secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over visitors Leeds United on Saturday evening at the Etihad Stadium, in a match held as part of Matchday 13 of the English Premier League.
City started the match perfectly, with Phil Foden scoring the fastest Premier League goal this season, precisely in the 59th second. Defender Josko Gvardiol then added the second goal in the 25th minute, concluding the first half with Pep Guardiola's side leading 2-0.
Leeds entered the second half with a completely different approach, narrowing the deficit in the 49th minute. Lucas Nmecha then successfully equalized for his team by the 68th minute, after following up on a missed penalty.
