Reports indicate that Liverpool's management has identified Spanish coach Luis Enrique as a potential candidate to manage the English club.
The Sun newspaper reported that Liverpool officials have already begun exploring new managerial options to replace current coach Arne Slot.
The same source clarified that while the idea of bringing back Jürgen Klopp temporarily has been discussed, Liverpool's true aspiration is to sign Luis Enrique, the current manager of French club Paris Saint-Germain.
Liverpool is currently enduring a difficult period under Slot, particularly following their 4-1 defeat to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven last Wednesday in the fifth round of the Champions League.
