Court of Appeal Upholds Five-Year Prison Sentence for Boudrika

The Casablanca Court of Appeal today, Wednesday, upheld the verdict issued by the Ain Sebaa Criminal Court against Mohamed Boudrika, the former president of Raja Club Athletic, which sentenced him to a five-year prison term.

The Criminal Court had previously sentenced Boudrika to five years in prison, a fine of 664,000 dirhams, and a one-year ban on issuing checks.

Boudrika, who is also a former parliamentarian for the National Rally of Independents party, was prosecuted while in custody on serious charges. These charges notably included issuing bounced checks, fraud, forgery of a customary document and its use, and unlawfully obtaining and using an administrative certificate for illegal purposes.
