Amrabat: 'I'm Comfortable at Real Betis, But Can't Promise Anything as I Don't Make Decisions Alone'

Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat has expressed his comfort at Real Betis, while also indicating that his future with the Spanish club remains open. Speaking at the press conference ahead of the match against Utrecht, Amrabat stated: "It is always difficult to talk about the future in football, but I am very comfortable and happy here. However, I cannot promise you anything because I do not decide by myself."

"I am happy here; it's a great club, and let's see what happens in the future," Amrabat added.

Regarding his relationship with coach Manuel Pellegrini, Amrabat commented: "My relationship with the coach is very good. He contacted me first, and I felt very comfortable with him, following my heart when I decided to come here. He is an excellent coach with high technical skills, and I believe he has proven his worth here and in his previous roles. The best thing Betis can do is renew his contract. It's not just because he is close to me; I always tell the truth."

Amrabat joined Real Betis in the final hours of the last summer transfer window, on loan from Fenerbahçe until the summer of 2028.
