Morocco Secures 18th Consecutive Win with 4-0 Friendly Victory Over Uganda
The Moroccan national team defeated their Ugandan counterparts 4-0 in a friendly match played today, Tuesday, at the Grand Stade de Tanger.
From the start of the half, Morocco immediately pressed the visitors' goal, opening the scoring early through Naïl El Ainaoui, who netted his first goal for the national team in the fourth minute.
The "Atlas Lions" continued their attacking efforts to add a second goal, which came in the 33rd minute courtesy of Ismael Saibari.
After the break, the match tempo slowed, and while Morocco created some opportunities, they were not converted into goals until the 79th minute, when Soufiane Rahimi scored a third for Walid Regragui's side from a penalty kick.
Morocco concluded their training camp with two consecutive victories, first defeating Mozambique 1-0, before securing the 4-0 win over Uganda. These matches form part of their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations, which the Kingdom will host starting next December.
