Imran Louza Hopes for Africa Cup of Nations Call-Up with Morocco
Imran Louza, the English club Watford's midfielder, expressed satisfaction with his performance at the start of the current season. He affirmed his continuous pursuit of improvement, despite the positive statistics he has recorded.
In an interview with "Ouest-France," Louza stated: "The start of the season is good. For a defensive midfielder, the statistics are there, and I can only be happy. But I am a person who always asks for more and focuses on the smallest details." He has so far scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 13 matches.
He added: "I don't want to settle for just the numbers, even if they are important in today's football. During 90 minutes, many things happen around me on the pitch, and I still have room to improve my level in certain aspects."
Louza continued: "I am at the peak of confidence. I have regained that leadership aspect that I had at Nantes, and this makes things easier for me. This is what I missed in my first years with Watford."
Regarding his international ambitions, Louza emphasized his desire to represent the Atlas Lions in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, affirming: "Yes, I would like to be present at the Africa Cup of Nations with the Atlas Lions."
