Sofiane Diop, the OGC Nice midfielder, expressed immense pride in his return to the Moroccan national team, emphasizing the significance of the current 'Atlas Lions' training camp ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Speaking to the press, Diop stated: "This is my first time visiting Tangier, and returning to the national team is a great honor."

He added: "This camp is extremely important as it precedes the Africa Cup of Nations. We are working calmly, and the group is progressing well, always with great enthusiasm and pride."

Regarding the Grand Stade de Tanger, Diop explained: "This is my first visit to the stadium, which has a capacity of 80,000 spectators. It will be a new experience for me, and I hope to participate [against Mozambique], but the most important thing, above all, is to win."

The Moroccan national team is scheduled to face Mozambique tomorrow, Friday, at 8:00 PM (20:00 GMT+1) at the Grand Stade de Tanger.
