Moroccan Fans Limited to 420 Seats for New Caledonia Match on Sunday

Attention will turn to Stadium No. 1 in Doha, the Qatari capital, tomorrow, Sunday, as Morocco's U17 national team plays its crucial match against New Caledonia. The game kicks off at 4:30 PM Doha time (2:30 PM Moroccan time) as part of the third round of the group stage in the U17 World Cup.

During Morocco's previous match against Portugal, organizers initially stated the stadium's capacity was 500 seats. However, the "El Botola" website conducted a precise count during the game, revealing that the actual number of seats did not exceed 420. This discrepancy caused clear confusion among Moroccan fans, as hundreds of supporters remained outside the stadium despite holding "Day Pass" tickets, after the small stands quickly filled up.

Organizers and Qatari police refused to allow anyone to stand, particularly during the start of the Portugal match. This caused minor tension with fans, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the limited number of seats allocated to Moroccan supporters.

It is worth noting that tomorrow's match against New Caledonia will be held under the same system and with the same seating capacity. This means Moroccan fans are advised to arrive early to secure their place in the stands, especially since this match represents the Atlas Cubs' last chance to secure a victory and cling to their hopes of qualifying for the next round.
