
Benjdida: 'Honored to Wear Morocco Jersey, Will Sacrifice for World Cup Spot'
Morocco national team player Soufiane Benjdida affirmed that wearing the national jersey is a great honor for him, expressing his hope to be included in the final squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Benjdida stated in an interview with the official website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation: "The atmosphere within the squad is fantastic, and the players share a brotherly relationship."
He added: "It is an honor for me to wear the Moroccan national team jersey, and I will sacrifice a lot to be in the best possible readiness and to be with the squad at the World Cup. Even if I am not on the list, I will continue to support and encourage my friends until the very last minute."
It is worth noting that the "Atlas Lions" will face Burundi in their first friendly match tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex behind closed doors.
