Campos indicated during an interaction with fans on his official X account that the club aims to attract individuals who place team interest, enjoyment of football, and life in the French capital above financial gains.
The Portuguese sporting official underscored that football, not money, is the fundamental driver of the club's direction. Luis Campos stated, “Those willing to give everything for this project and this club will come to Paris. They are the ones who want to enjoy football, work with their teammates and under the coach, and enjoy the City of Lights and support the management more than the money they might earn.” Campos clarified that football transcends money, not the other way around; if a player performs well and fights for the shirt, titles will follow, and then money naturally, in line with a merit-based culture that rewards dedication with both affection and material benefits.
This direct interaction comes after Campos officially confirmed ownership of the account last October, a move that surprised followers given his previous media presence. While fans urged the sporting director to pursue Argentinian Julián Álvarez during the summer transfer window, Campos utilized the platform to explain the club's stringent criteria for future signings, moving beyond mere big names.
