The draw for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers was conducted on Tuesday in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, resulting in several strong groups. The full draw results are as follows:

Group B: Egypt, Angola, Malawi, South Sudan
Group C: Ivory Coast, Ghana, Gambia, Somalia
Group D: South Africa, Guinea, Kenya, Eritrea
Group E: DR Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe
Group F: Burkina Faso, Benin, Mauritania, Central African Republic

The first two matchdays of the qualifiers are scheduled to take place during the international break from September 21 to October 6, 2026. The third and fourth matchdays will follow between November 9 and 17 of the same year.
The final two matchdays of the AFCON qualifiers will be played between March 22 and 30, 2027.
