Pellegrini: Amrabat's Future to Be Discussed Post-Season, Provided 'Experienced Player' We Lacked
Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini has opted to postpone any decision regarding the future of Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat until the end of the current season, while commending the player's contributions since his arrival.
Speaking to the media about Amrabat, Pellegrini stated: “First, we will conclude the season, and then we will focus on negotiations. We must first assess our final league position and consider the various changes that might occur within the squad for different reasons.”
He further added, “This is a matter that will be discussed in the future. Sofyan is a player who has provided us with added value in a position where we lacked an experienced player for this role, despite Altimira and Roca having played there. The defensive midfielder plays a very crucial role.”
Real Betis had previously secured the Moroccan national team midfielder on a one-season loan deal from Turkish club Fenerbahçe.
