Ethics Committee Suspends Difaâ El Jadidi's El Maliki Temporarily Over Controversial Raja Statements
The Ethics Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has issued a decision to provisionally suspend Hamza El Maliki, a player for Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi, pending his hearing and a final ruling on the case presented before the committee.
This decision follows a complaint filed by the National Professional Football League, registered with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation on May 5th, concerning what the committee described as "unethical conduct" by the player after his team's match against Raja Club Athletic during Week 18 of the Botola Pro "Inwi".
The Ethics Committee affirmed in its decision that the suspension will remain in effect until the player's hearing procedures are completed and a final decision on the case is made.
Following his team's match against Raja Club Athletic, Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi player Hamza El Maliki had stated: "They take from FAR and give to Raja, and they take from here and give to those. This is how the league is, like chess." These remarks sparked widespread controversy, leading to his appearance before the Royal Moroccan Football Federation's Ethics Committee.
