Official Ban on Away Fan Travel and Ticket Allocation Following "Clásico" Incidents
The National Professional Football League has announced a series of precautionary measures following unsportsmanlike incidents witnessed in several national stadiums, most notably the match between FAR Rabat and Raja Casablanca at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Complex.
These decisions stem from the outcomes of a meeting held on Friday, May 1, 2026, involving various stakeholders in the national football system. It was decided not to allocate stands or areas for visiting team fans, nor to issue tickets specifically for away supporters.
The measures also include a ban on away fan travel during the upcoming period. This step aims to reduce tensions observed in certain matches and ensure that competitions take place under safe conditions.
The League affirmed that these measures are part of its commitment to ensuring the normal progression of the league and enhancing safety conditions within stadiums. It also called on all stakeholders, particularly fans, to demonstrate a spirit of responsibility and positive engagement to uphold the image of national football.
