Zamalek Announces Bentayg Suffers Groin Strain
Zamalek's medical staff has revealed details regarding the injury sustained by Moroccan player Mahmoud Bentayg, which prevented him from participating in the match against Pyramids in the third round of the Egyptian League's championship phase.
According to the Egyptian website "Kooora Plus," the medical team confirmed that the Moroccan player is suffering from a groin strain, which led to his exclusion from the match held at Cairo International Stadium to prevent the injury from worsening.
The same source added that Bentayg will undergo a series of additional medical examinations in the coming days to accurately assess his condition and determine the appropriate treatment and rehabilitation program before a final decision is made regarding his return to the pitch.
For his part, coach Moatamed Gamal stated that the player is considered one of the team's key pillars, expressing his hope to recover his services as soon as possible, especially during this crucial stage of the season.
