
CAF Delegation Meets with AFCON 2027 Host Nations Today
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) held a meeting today, Wednesday, with a delegation representing the three host nations of the Africa Cup of Nations "PAMOJA 2027" – Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. This meeting is part of the ongoing preparations to organize the continental event.
The delegation comprises high-ranking government officials alongside the presidents of the three nations' football federations: Hussein Mohamed for Kenya, Wallace Karia for Tanzania, and Moses H. Magogo for Uganda. This participation underscores the joint coordination between governments and sports federations to ensure the tournament's success.
Leading the CAF delegation is Acting General Secretary Samson Adamu. During the meeting, discussions are focusing on the organizational and logistical aspects related to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, in addition to evaluating the readiness of the host countries.
This meeting is part of CAF's early preparations aimed at ensuring a successful edition of the tournament. The "PAMOJA" 2027 AFCON will be the first edition to be jointly organized by three East African nations.
