USM Alger's Dehiri: Safi Match Will Be Tougher, We'll Fight for Qualification
Hussein Dehiri, defender for Algerian club USM Alger, emphasized the anticipated difficulty of the upcoming clash against Olympique Safi in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Dehiri stated: "We previously faced this team in the group stage and secured a victory against them, but the second leg will not be the same; it will be much tougher, especially since Olympique Safi is performing exceptionally well in this competition."
He added: "We are well aware of the difficulty of the task, particularly with their fans providing immense support, in addition to them returning with a positive result from Algeria. However, we will give our all to achieve qualification."
Dehiri continued: "The match will be decided on the pitch, and the chances of qualification are equal between both teams. We will strive to deliver a great performance and secure our spot in the final."
The match is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at the Stade El Massira in Safi, kicking off at 8:00 PM. The first leg concluded in a goalless draw (0-0).
