According to "TEAMtalk," the French club submitted an official offer last January, but Everton rejected the bid, preferring to retain the player to strengthen their squad during a crucial phase of the season.

Despite the deal not materializing at the time, Marseille's interest in Aznou has not waned. The club is expected to renew their efforts in the upcoming summer transfer window, convinced of his technical abilities and potential to make a significant contribution.

Aznou is considered one of the rising talents attracting attention from several European clubs, which could intensify the competition for his signature in the near future, especially if Everton decides to reconsider his future at the club.
